- Addison's Disease (Adrenal Insufficiency)
- SYMPTOMS will include fatigue, low blood pressure when standing or when
- changing positions, in which may lead to near-fainting or fainting, nausea,
- loss of appetite and weight, diarrhea, vomiting, weakness, cold intolerance
- and dark pigmentation of skin over knees, knuckles and elbows.
- CAUSES are mostly unknown. It may be due to tumor, infection or other disease
- of the adrenals. Involves adrenal gland hormones decreased production.
- TREATMENT. Daily use of adrenal hormones is usually the treatment.
